Giorgos Minas was born in Piraeus in 1955. He comes from Galaxidi from a naval family. He was always moved by the sea, which also appears in his work with consistency, perspicuity and love. All those years of traveling in foreign countries gave him the ability to widden his horizons, something that is been reflected in his artworks. His interests except from painting are working with stone, and clay. Each element of nature that leads to his hands is a possible work of art.
